Three Lifestyle Stores

The Brief

The strategy given to The Building Consultancy for Three was to become a “connected lifestyle brand”. For Three’s consumers, this was to dramatically change perceptions of retail, providing for the first time an offering that was curated to consumers’ personal tastes with expert advice at its core. To ensure the customer experience was seamless across online and in-store. This involved providing a whole new concept into the Three retail store portfolio.

The Execution

The project was carried out over several years and anywhere between 10 and 20 stores were completed per year. Each store was closed for approximately five weeks. The stores were completely stripped out and returned to shell and core status. The stores were then fitted out with the new concept, including all new store furniture. So far 50 store fitouts have been completed, with the remaining stores to be completed by the end of 2024.

The Result

Right at the core of “the what” Three are doing is creating an immersive shopping experience we hope their customers love.  Three’s goal was to form a space for customers to browse and discover a range of curated products hand-picked for people that visit their stores. Three did their research, listened to their customers and their new lifestyle stores are the result of that. When you visit one of Three’s new stores, they want you to relax and take in the whole experience, which is a feast for your senses. So you take your time to explore Three’s full range of new products alongside their wide range of smartphones. You can pick them up and try them out to see how they could fit into your life.
